Khoo Seow Fong joined the Real Estate department as Senior Vice President, Real Estate, GIC (Japan) K.K., in October 2021. Then, he was appointed Managing Director in June 2024 and Deputy Head, Japan, in January 2025. Previously, as Senior Vice President of Integrated Strategies Group, Seow Fong supported GIC’s expansion into new investment areas in Japan. Currently, he oversees GIC’s entire real estate business in Japan, including logistics, data center, office, residential and hospitality.

Seow Fong started his career at Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Country Officer (Japan). He also served as First Secretary (Political) in the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore in Tokyo, as well as Director, Investment & Asset Management, in Mapletree Investments Japan, before joining GIC in April 2019.

Seow Fong holds a Bachelor of Economics from Kyoto University.
